Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to residents including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- Support nutritional needs by assisting with meals and ensuring adequate hydration
- Maintain clean and safe resident environments following infection control protocols
- Document care activities accurately and timely in resident charts
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior experience necessary - we provide all training!
- Must pass background check and pre-employment health screening
- Ability to obtain CNA certification within 90 days of hire (training provided)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Compassionate nature with genuine desire to help others
- Basic computer literacy for documentation tasks
