Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding patients.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and mobility support as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed nursing staff.
- Document patient progress, complaints, and changes in condition accurately.
- Collaborate with RNs, LPNs, and physicians to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current and active North Carolina CNA license required.
- CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross) is mandatory.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
