Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs with precision and attention to detail
- Assist with mobility transfers and positioning to prevent injuries
- Document patient observations accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with RNs and other healthcare professionals for cohesive care
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment
- Support patient emotional well-being through active listening
Qualifications
- Current California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months recent CNA experience in acute care or long-term settings
- Valid CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly patients
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
