Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Provide basic wound care and assist with mobility and transferring patients safely using transfer belts or mechanical lifts.
- Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary restrictions are met.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff and physicians promptly.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Must hold a current, active CNA certification or be willing to obtain one through our partnership with local training centers.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred or obtainable upon hire).
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
