Your Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will be the backbone of our patient care team. You will provide compassionate care, advocate for patient needs, and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical examinations and taking medical histories.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on clinical assessment and patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians in accordance with approved nursing procedures.
- Monitor patient progress and response to treatment, documenting all findings accurately in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and home care instructions.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide critical care when necessary.
Qualifications
- Current and active RN License in the State of Florida.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to demonstrate compassion and patience when dealing with patients and families.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift patients as required.
