Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide basic personal care and comfort measures to patients.
- Communicate patient status and concerns to Registered Nurses and healthcare supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Transport patients to and from appointments or therapy sessions as needed.
- Assist with feeding and hydration for patients with special needs.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Current CNA Certification (or enrollment in a state-approved training program with completion date).
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
