Responsibilities
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rates.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Prepare and serve meals according to prescribed dietary restrictions.
- Collaborate with nurses and physicians to update patient care plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
- Transport patients to and from treatment areas using wheelchairs or stretchers.
Qualifications
- Current, valid, and unencumbered California CNA license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or CPR certification required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- A compassionate, patient-focused attitude with a strong work ethic.
