Responsibilities
- Provide basic bedside care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with personal hygiene and ensure their comfort and dignity are maintained.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff regarding patient status and needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff.
- Support the nursing team with clinical procedures and patient monitoring.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current CNA Certification preferred; willing to hire those with strong potential and willingness to complete training.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use electronic health records.
- Must be willing to work in a remote or hybrid capacity as required by department needs.
