Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Provide basic nursing care under the supervision of registered nurses and licensed practical nurses.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient status.
- Ensure patient rooms and common areas are clean, safe, and sanitary.
- Transport patients to and from treatment areas, wheelchairs, or stretchers.
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and requests for assistance.
Qualifications
- Current and active Washington State CNA Certification required.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Compassionate, patient-oriented attitude with a focus on quality care.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
