Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition accurately.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff, patients, and families.
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current and valid State CNA certification required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Strong compassion for the elderly and sick.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift patients as needed.
