Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and accurately record patient vital signs and medical history.
- Support patients with mobility issues, utilizing proper transfer techniques and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and family members regarding patient care plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff.
- Administer medication under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies with a calm demeanor.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required in the state of Arizona.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
- Previous experience in long-term care or home health is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
