Responsibilities
- Perform accurate vital sign measurements, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment to ensure safety standards.
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during patient examinations and minor procedures.
- Collect and process patient specimens for lab testing.
- Manage patient check-in processes and update electronic health records (EHR) accurately.
- Provide clear instructions to patients regarding medications and post-care.
- Maintain a clean, welcoming, and professional reception area.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- No prior medical experience is necessary; we value attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and typing skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- CPR certification is a plus but not mandatory for entry-level applicants.
