Your Role:
As a CNA at Sunrise, you will be the heart of our facility. You will work closely with the nursing staff to provide exceptional care to our patients, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration) accurately.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Turn and reposition bedridden patients to prevent pressure ulcers.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and assist patients with eating.
- Document patient care activities, reactions, and outcomes in the medical record.
- Communicate any changes in patient condition to the Registered Nurse or Charge Nurse immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CNA Certification (CNA License) required by state regulation.
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented demeanor.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift patients as needed.
