Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs and patient status.
- Assist registered nurses with medical procedures and treatment plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary patient environment at all times.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Document daily care activities and any changes in patient condition promptly.
- Support patients with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standing (State of Arizona).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not always required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients as necessary (up to 50 lbs).
- Compassionate, patient-focused attitude with a desire to help others.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
