Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure client safety.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Administer medications and track vital signs as directed by the RN.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients to improve their quality of life.
- Document daily care activities and report any changes in condition to the supervising nurse.
- Transport clients to medical appointments or errands as needed.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
