Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Turn, reposition, and move patients safely to prevent bedsores and ensure comfort.
- Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary restrictions are met.
- Communicate effectively with nurses, doctors, and family members regarding patient status and needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition accurately.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We are looking for motivated individuals eager to learn and grow in the healthcare field.
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required.
- Current state CNA certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient dignity and care.
- Ability to work well in a team-based healthcare environment.
