Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and maintain patient safety protocols
- Collaborate with RNs and healthcare teams to coordinate care plans
- Support patient emotional well-being and maintain dignity in all interactions
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and facility-specific procedures
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent CNA experience in acute care or long-term setting
- BLS/CPR certification required (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and compassion for elderly patients
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability
- Background check and drug screen clearance
