Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and empathetic CNA to assist our nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will be patient-focused, reliable, and ready to make a difference in the lives of our residents.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques to prevent injury.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient status and concerns.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding for patients with dietary restrictions.
- Follow all facility protocols and safety regulations to ensure a secure environment.
Qualifications
- Current and active Wisconsin CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license required.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification must be current.
- Previous experience in a long-term care facility, hospital, or home health setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if applicable for travel nursing).
- Positive attitude and commitment to patient-centered care.
