Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility and transferring them safely to and from beds or wheelchairs.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and patient needs.
- Communicate patient status and changes in condition to RNs and physicians promptly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
- Document patient care activities and services accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Current and valid CNA or LPN license in the state of Georgia.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home health setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed (up to 50 lbs).
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented demeanor.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
