Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans for diverse patient populations during overnight hours
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while maintaining accurate electronic health records
- Lead rapid response interventions during critical incidents, demonstrating advanced clinical judgment
- Mentor junior staff and coordinate interdisciplinary care teams to ensure seamless patient transitions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and implement evidence-based practices
- Conduct patient education on chronic disease management and discharge planning
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and maintain strict confidentiality standards
- Utilize telehealth technologies to extend care coordination beyond traditional settings
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania RN license with unrestricted practice status
- BSN or higher degree from an accredited nursing program
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience with night shift preference
- BLS/ACLS certifications; PALS or TNCC preferred
- Expertise in EHR systems (Epic/EMR) and telehealth platforms
- Proven ability to thrive in autonomous, high-pressure environments
- Specialty certifications (e.g., CCRN, CMSRN) strongly preferred
