Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, answering call lights and addressing concerns promptly.
- Administer medications and treatments according to licensed nursing staff instructions and physician orders.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient room environment.
- Communicate significant changes in patient condition to the charge nurse or medical director immediately.
- Document patient care activities and observations in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered CNA or Medical Assistant license in the State of Arizona.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Healthcare Provider CPR certification required.
- High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care, or home health setting is preferred.
