Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure and temperature.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and ensuring proper nutrition.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition accurately.
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare staff to ensure quality care.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Willingness to obtain CNA certification or similar healthcare credentials (training provided).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and assist with patient transfers.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Compassionate and patient-centered attitude.
