Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor vital signs and record patient health data accurately in electronic medical records.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing staff and physicians regarding patient changes.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe patient environment at all times.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed nursing staff.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients during the night shift.
Qualifications
- Current, active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Tennessee.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home health setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team during night hours.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift patients as needed.
