Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assisting with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respirations) accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist patients with mobility, transferring, and positioning safely using proper body mechanics.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and physicians to ensure continuity of high-quality patient care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly patient environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Document patient interactions, care plans, and changes in condition in electronic medical records.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergency situations within the scope of the CNA role.
Qualifications
- Current and valid State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred but not required.
- Must be available to work rotating Night Shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Ability to lift and move patients weighing up to 250 pounds as necessary.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen prior to employment.
