Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, toileting)
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding support
- Document care accurately and maintain resident charts
- Transport residents safely within the facility
- Maintain clean, sanitized environments and follow infection protocols
- Respond promptly to resident call systems and emergencies
Qualifications
- Active Kansas CNA certification required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 6 months of CNA experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work rotating night shifts
