Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) accurately.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients throughout the night.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and medical charts.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergency situations.
Qualifications
- Current and active CNA license in the state of New Mexico.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Previous experience in long-term care or hospital settings preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Physical stamina to lift and transfer patients safely.
- Reliability and a compassionate demeanor.
