Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and safe positioning.
- Document patient care plans, intake, and output accurately and timely.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergencies during the night shift.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all residents.
Qualifications
- Current and active New Mexico CNA certification required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be held.
- Previous experience in a nursing home or hospital setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work night shifts (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM or 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM).
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and detail-oriented attitude.
