Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, pain levels, and physical conditions accurately.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide personal hygiene care and ensure patient comfort throughout the night shift.
- Communicate significant changes in patient status to the charge nurse or medical team immediately.
- Administer medication as directed and maintain accurate medication administration records (MAR).
- Ensure the patient room and environment are clean, safe, and organized.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license active in the state of Texas (required).
- High School Diploma or GED (required).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care facility is a plus.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) on a consistent basis.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.
