Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming).
  • Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, accurately and timely.
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by the RN or Physician.
  • Respond promptly to patient calls and emergency situations within the scope of the CNA role.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all residents.
  • Document patient care plans and progress notes in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Communicate effectively with the nursing team and family members regarding patient status.

Qualifications

  • Current and active CNA License issued by the Kentucky Board of Nursing.
  • CPR and BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
  • Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
