Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs accurately
- Assist with patient positioning and repositioning
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergencies
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Collaborate effectively with RNs and interdisciplinary teams
- Complete electronic health records documentation
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification from AHA
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Exceptional communication and empathy abilities
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
