Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and safe patient handling protocols
- Collaborate with RNs to implement individualized care plans
- Maintain sterile environments during procedures and wound care
- Respond promptly to call lights and patient needs during night shifts
- Support end-of-life care with dignity and respect
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care or long-term experience
- BLS/CPR certification required (AHA preferred)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Availability for consistent night shifts (7PM-7AM)
- Pass background check and drug screening
