Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse, reporting any abnormalities immediately.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including transferring them safely between beds and wheelchairs.
- Assist registered nurses with procedures, wound care, and documentation.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized environment for all patients and visitors.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to ensure comfort and understanding of care plans.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and requests for assistance.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- No prior CNA experience required; on-the-job training provided.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- CPR certification is a plus but not mandatory for employment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
