Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate, and temperature.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as toileting, eating, and mobility.
- Turn and reposition bedridden patients to prevent pressure sores and ensure comfort.
- Report any changes in a patient's physical or mental condition to the Charge Nurse or Registered Nurse immediately.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure residents receive proper nutrition and hydration.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for all patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- No prior CNA experience necessary; we value attitude and willingness to learn over experience.
- CPR certification is a plus but not required for the hiring process.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a patient demeanor are essential.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift patients (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
