Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to residents including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety
- Document care activities accurately in patient records
- Support residents with daily living activities and emotional well-being
- Maintain clean and safe resident environments
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning meetings
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – we provide paid training!
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must pass state CNA certification exam (training provided)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Valid Illinois driver's license (if transporting residents)
- Clear background check and drug screening
- Basic computer skills for documentation
- Compassionate attitude and strong communication skills
