Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to ensure their comfort and hygiene.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately.
- Provide basic wound care and assist with mobility using walkers, canes, or wheelchairs as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the nursing team regarding patient conditions and care plans.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized patient environment by adhering to strict sanitation and safety protocols.
- Observe and report any changes in a patient's physical or emotional condition to the Charge Nurse immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Current CNA Certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated entry-level candidates.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs safely.
