Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature accurately.
- Support patients with mobility issues, including transferring to and from beds and wheelchairs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff and healthcare team promptly.
- Prepare and serve meals according to patient dietary restrictions.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification or willingness to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
