Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Monitor vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature) and report any abnormalities to the Registered Nurse.
  • Turn, reposition, and move patients safely to prevent bedsores and ensure comfort.
  • Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and feeding schedules.
  • Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment in patient rooms and common areas.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Willingness to obtain or hold a state CNA certification (we assist with training).
  • Strong desire to learn and grow in a healthcare setting.
  • Basic computer literacy and ability to use electronic health record systems.
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and transferring patients.
