Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature) and report any abnormalities to the Registered Nurse.
- Turn, reposition, and move patients safely to prevent bedsores and ensure comfort.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and feeding schedules.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment in patient rooms and common areas.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Willingness to obtain or hold a state CNA certification (we assist with training).
- Strong desire to learn and grow in a healthcare setting.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use electronic health record systems.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and transferring patients.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
