Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort.
- Communicate changes in patient condition or concerns to the nursing staff and physicians promptly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and residents.
- Support patients with meal preparation and feeding as required by their care plans.
- Document patient care activities and progress in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- CNA Certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days) is highly preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate, patient-oriented attitude with a desire to help others.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
