Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in medical-surgical units with 24/7 nursing supervision
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precise documentation
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergency situations using ACLS protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge procedures
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with HIPAA standards
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and safety audits
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing (or eligible for Colorado compact license)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- ACLS/BLS certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care settings
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
