Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Provide basic bedside care and comfort measures to patients.
- Document patient care activities and changes in patient condition accurately.
- Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare team members.
- Ensure patient rooms and equipment are clean and sanitized.
- Assist with transporting patients to different departments for procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or enrollment in a CNA program.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented demeanor.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
