Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Prepare and serve meals according to patients' dietary restrictions and care plans.
- Document patient care activities, including changes in condition, in electronic health records accurately and timely.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current, valid California State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA/CNA) License.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation are highly preferred.
