Responsibilities
- Provide basic bedside care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rates.
- Assist patients with mobility issues and transfers using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Document patient care activities, changes in condition, and relevant medical information accurately.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, and patients' families to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in a clinical or long-term care setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
