Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rates.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide basic bedside care and support to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Document patient care plans, changes in condition, and daily progress accurately.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Ohio.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Previous experience in a clinical or home healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and assist patients for extended periods.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
