Responsibilities
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, ensuring accuracy and timely documentation.
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting with dignity and respect.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for all patients and staff members.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to implement and update individualized care plans.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members regarding patient needs and concerns.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients as needed.
- Assist with mobility and transfer procedures safely using proper body mechanics.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required in the state of Florida.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
