Responsibilities
- Provide direct personal care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor residents' health status and report any changes or concerns to the charge nurse immediately.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and mobility support as required.
- Document resident care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for all residents.
- Support the implementation of care plans and therapeutic activities.
Qualifications
- Current Ohio CNA Certification and State License.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull residents up to 50 pounds safely.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Clean background check and drug screen required.
