About the Role
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Patient Care Assistant, you will be the eyes and ears of our nursing staff, providing essential care to our patients. We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn, reliable, and genuinely care about improving the lives of others.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide basic wound care and assistance with mobility and transfers.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition accurately.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered North Carolina CNA License required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- CPR/BLS Certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate demeanor with a patient-first attitude.
