Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake and vital sign assessments during evening hours
- Assist physicians with diagnostic procedures and minor treatments
- Administer medications and injections per protocol
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize equipment
- Coordinate patient flow and appointment scheduling
- Handle laboratory specimen processing
- Respond to after-hours patient inquiries
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA/NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Night shift availability required
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/NextGen preferred)
- Strong venipuncture and phlebotomy skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Ability to work independently during off-peak hours
