Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff promptly.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic patient medical records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all patients at all times.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Strong compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to help patients.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
