Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and patient needs.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to nursing staff and physicians promptly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
- Document all care activities and observations accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Current and active State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to patient dignity and respect.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
