Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Monitor vital signs and document health observations accurately
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance resident well-being
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement personalized care plans
- Maintain clean, safe environments following infection control protocols
- Transport residents to appointments and social activities as needed
- Report changes in resident condition promptly to nursing staff
Qualifications
- Current Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of long-term care or assisted living experience
- Ability to work Saturdays, Sundays, and rotating holidays
- Strong communication skills with empathy and patience
- Successful completion of background check and drug screening
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
